This tunic top is a unique creation by June Hope. She has hand dyed, hand felted and sewn this original design.

Elegant adornment for the body and nourishment for the soul are what is imbued into June Hope’s unique and contemporary hand-felted wearable and visual art. Colour, style and flair are hallmarks of her work.

Often organic and textural in nature, June’s original, one-off works are definite statement pieces. Whether it be a scarf, wrap, garment or hat; guaranteed it will be a talking point at any occasion.

June artistically combines the finest Australian merino and/or alpaca fleece often with silks and other fabrics and fibre. 'These are my art mediums: I paint with fleece and fibre' is how she describes her work. This is then hand-felted using traditional wet felting methods and hand-rolled into a fabulous felted fusion of colour and harmony.

Each of June’s handcrafted pieces reflect the joy and inspiration of a person who is doing what she loves and ‘midwifing’ it to the world.
