Knitting Strings

These flexible silicone hollow cords are perfect for holding your stitches or for trying on your in progress knitting projects without removing any of it from your needles! Perfect for use with top down projects.

You simply place the end of the cord firmly over end of the needle.  After it is attached to your needle tip, simply slide stitches on to the flexible tubing so you can try your garment on or to hold your stitches. When you are done, push all of the stitches back onto the needle and pull off the tubing. Great for trying on smaller accessory items like hats, gloves/mittens, socks, etc.

Dandelion South offer the following options of silicone cords. 

Large: 1 Small, 1 Medium, 1 Large sized cord all are 150cm long. These three sized cords cover needle sizes 2.00mm (US 0) to 12.00mm (US 17) and cord stopper included.

Small:  3 small cords  x 150cm  The small cord will work on 2.00mm (US 0) to 4.00mm (US 6)  and cord stopper included.

The cords can be cut to make them smaller if need be. Comes in a secure screw top circular tin, clearly labelled. Cord colours will vary.
