Zigzag Track is the name for our man's hat and scarf made from Karoa Fibres' beautiful bond merino yarn. Grown and processed in Victoria, it is wonderful to use such great wool in a natural shade. Like the meandering Zigzag Track on our mountain, the parallel lines snake their way on the ascent. It was fun project to design using cables for really dominant texture on the hat and teemed with a knit/purl zigzag stitch design on the scarf bordered with purl blocks representing rocks to climb on the track.
