Issue 26 Autumn 2025 Crossing Paths

Laine's autumn issue, Laine 26, Crossing Paths, takes you to the bohemian Kallio district of Helsinki, Finland. We stroll the streets of this unique, creative neighbourhood, stop by at a local café and pick up flowers from the marketplace. The issue includes twelve beautiful knits to complete your autumn outfits: they feature luscious cables, fascinating textures and innovative stripe patterns — not to mention some meditative stockinette stitch and simple colourwork. Laine Magazine Issue 25 Brushstrokes  

Laine's beautiful summer issue, Laine 25, Stillness, takes you to an old summer cabin by the lakeside — nestled in the woods, surrounded by birch and pine trees, fresh waters and blue skies. The photos capture the quiet beauty and serenity of Finnish summer. This issue includes twelve light and relaxed summer garments and accessories, perfect for the warmer months. The knits are worked in a variety of yarns suited for summer, and they feature many interesting techniques and textures.

Laine 15 Autumn 2022 Available in colour or a special Black/White edition

The autumn issue of Laine 15 comes with a whole new look!

Laine magazine is taking a step into a more modern, dynamic direction by celebrating knitwear and the world of fibre in a fresh way. Together with the new look, Laine is excited to introduce new, regular articles, such as Jeanette Sloan Talks Fibre. Of course, there are also things that won’t change: gorgeous knitwear patterns, beautiful high-quality photography and the size of the magazine, all elements that Laine is known for.

The new look was created by Kyiv-born Marina Veziko, one of Finland’s leading designers and the Graphic Designer of the Year 2021. While the war continues in Ukraine, Laine is prouder than ever to support Ukraine and its people.

To celebrate the new look, there are two different cover versions available: one in full-colour and a very limited black & white version. 

Issue 15, Autumn 2022:
