As part of Malabrigo’s 20th anniversary, they decided to rework one of their classic patterns (and a favorite among knitters!) with a modern twist using a new yarn, Seis Cabos. Presenting, Barnstable by Lisa Hannes. A shawl that mixes contrasting colors in a beginner-friendly mosaic that will undoubtedly become a showpiece.

This eye-catching shawl combines mosaic colorwork and clean lines, perfect for advanced beginners looking for an engaging, rewarding project. You’ll need 2 skeins of Seis Cabos for your Main Colour and 1 skein for the Contrast Colour. Because the mosaic motif relies on colour contrast to shine, we recommend pairing bold or high-contrast shades to really make the pattern pop.

The Malabrigo team will be answering questions about the pattern and helpig you work through the tricky parts.
They have set up a Ravelry thread, Facebook group and will held weekly zoom meetings with Jill from @knitsisu to assist you.

How to Participate: To be eligible, simply complete the registration form and share a photo of your project on social media using the hashtag #MalabrigoKAL.

How winners are selected: Winners are chosen at random using a randomizing app from among the registered users. After that, the Malabrigo team verifies that all requirements have been met by checking the social media handles provided during sign-up. If a selected winner doesn’t meet the criteria, a new winner will be drawn until all spots are filled.
