This is the pattern that was released in the Jamieson's of Shetland 2020 Advent Calendar. For that reason, the pattern has 24 different colours, it is a great 'stash buster'.
The patterns used in this design have been taken from Jessie Jamiesons hand written pattern book. Jessie was married to Andrew, the 2nd Generation to run the business. This pattern is for a cowl but it can also be knitted as a scarf.
It can also be adapted to knit flat by purling all even rows, following the charts from left to right.
You will need 3mm DPNs or a 40cm circular needle.

The benefits of Wool
Australian climate - perfect for wool
The vast, open pastures of Australia offer ample grazing areas, promoting healthy, well-nourished sheep that produce high-quality wool.
Tasmania's cooler climate provide ideal conditions for producing exceptionally fine wool, making it a renowned region for premium wool production in Australia.
