Nomad Knits – A Collection with Nomadnoos is a pattern book collaboration between amirisu and Nomadnoos. The ten designs in this collection exclusively feature Nomadnoos’ luxurious yarns made with sheep wool, camel hair, and yak fibers collected by nomads in Mongolian and hand-spun and dyed by artisans in Nepal. Each yarn is crafted to bring out the unique characteristics of the natural fibers and seems to carry an air of the Mongolian highlands.

We can help find substitution yarns for these patterns.

This release also includes an updated interview with founder Coty Jeronimus, originally featured in amirisu Issue 21.

Australian climate - perfect for wool

The vast, open pastures of Australia offer ample grazing areas, promoting healthy, well-nourished sheep that produce high-quality wool.

Tasmania's cooler climate provide ideal conditions for producing exceptionally fine wool, making it a renowned region for premium wool production in Australia.
