The Rubbish Beanie is created from left over yarn. Untouched World collect left-over knitwear pieces from their production runs and cut them into smaller pieces, which they send to their Wellington spinner.
There, they are shredded down and given a second life in the form of a new yarn. The recycling process is completely water and dye free.
The stunning colours of these unique new yarns are derived from the colours of our offcuts. The resulting one-of-a-kind Beanie is ultra cosy, thanks to the natural fibre blends the offcuts came from.
All of this work is helping us move towards our goal of zero textile waste to landfill by 2025.
